Glaucoma Specialist & Comprehensive Ophthalmologist
Dr. Kara Schultz is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist. Dr. Schultz has been practicing in the Chicagoland area for over a decade. She provides a full range of eye care services, including cataract surgery, the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma, and comprehensive ophthalmology.
Dr. Schultz received her undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa, graduating with honors and highest distinction. She continued at the University of Iowa for her medical studies, where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Schultz completed her ophthalmology residency at Saint Louis University, followed by fellowship training in glaucoma at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Schultz is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the Illinois Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. Schultz and her husband enjoy traveling and visiting new restaurants.
