Retina Specialist
Kyle Blair, D.O. is an ophthalmologist subspecializing in medical and surgical retina, practicing alongside the other ophthalmologists at Central Eye Care in Arlington Heights.
His clinical interests include diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular degeneration, retinal vascular disease, and other retinal pathology. He is currently an editor for ophthalmology articles on the medical reference site StatPearls.
Dr. Blair earned his undergraduate degree at Grinnell College in Iowa, then served two years in the Peace Corps in the mountains of Peru. He completed his medical training at Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Northwest, in Oregon, and his ophthalmology residency at OhioHealth Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Blair has completed a medical and surgical retina fellowship and is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Ophthalmology.
During his free time, Dr. Blair enjoys running, watching sports, traveling, going to concerts, trying out restaurants, and spending time with his wife.
